Ensuring Equal Justice and Language Access for Limited English Proficient Population

I am glad to be a part of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association’s (NAPABA) presentation and report on “Language Access and Asian Pacific Americans: Progress and Challenges” at the 2017 NAPABA convention in Washington D.C.

Ensuring equal justice and access to courts and services is a project I am passionate about. Read the report here. In this report, NAPABA examines the current state of language access at the federal and state courts and administrative agencies as well as provide recommendations to address the problems the limited English proficient population faces. DNzr12AX0AAzWIF
